Letter in Alphabetical Order

In such type of questions on analogy, two groups of letters related to each other in a particular way. The candidate is required to identify the relationship & choose a group of letters which is related in the same way to a 3rd group given in the question.

Solution : The position of C is third from the start and position of X is third from the end. The position of E is fifth the start and position of V is fifth from the end.Or, we can say that opposite letter of C is X and opposite letter of E is V.

Solution : The first and third letters of the first group are each one step backward while the second and fourth letters are each moved one step forward to obtain the corresponding letter of the second group. Hence answer is option (b).

Solution :  Each letter of the first group is movement one state backward to obtain the corresponding letter of the second group. Hence answer is option C.

Solution :  Each letter of the first group is moved eight steps forward to obtain the corresponding letter of the second group.

Solution : Each letter of the first group is moved three steps backward to obtain the corresponding letter of the second group.

Illustration 7 :  In each of the three questions,there is a relationship between the word on the left hand side and the nonsense syllable on the right hand side. The some relationship obtains in all the three rows. Of the four alternatives given in each question, find the one that fits into the blank place in the third row. That is your answer.

Solution : In each row, the syllable on the right consists of letters obtained by moving the letters at the even-numbered positions in the word, one step forward.

O is 15, add 1 in 15 , we get 16 i.e. P.

D is 4, add 1 in  4, we get 5 i.e. E.

R is 18, add 1 in 18, we get 19 i.e. S.

Similarly, in CLUSTER, MUSCLE.

So, the answer is VDF.

Solution :  Clearly, each letter of the first group is moved one step backward to obtain the corresponding letter of the second group.

B is 2 subtract 1, we get 1 i.e. A.

E is 5 subtract 1, we get 4 i.e. D.

G is 7 subtract 1, we get 6 i.e. F.

K is 11 subtract 1, we get 10 i.e.J.

So, the answer is ORUX.
